Captain Brian Krueger

After graduating from Lone Oak High School in 1992, Captain Brian Krueger enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps where he served for four years on active duty as a Marine Security Guard and as an Infantry Squad Leader. Captain Krueger joined the police department in November 1998. He has served as a patrol officer, detective, patrol sergeant, and patrol captain, and previously served as a sniper on the Special Weapons and Tactics Team (SWAT). He is currently the commander of the Administrative Services division. These duties involve supervision and oversight of the Records Department, Training, Evidence, Accreditation, and Internal Investigations.
Captain Krueger is a graduate of the Kentucky Leadership Institute's Academy of Police Supervision and the Criminal Justice Executive Development Program, and is also a graduate of the 236th session of the FBI National Academy. He is currently working toward obtaining his bachelor's degree from Mid-Continent University, and is also a member of the Paducah Lions Club. He enjoys spending his free time with his wife and children and enjoys hunting, fishing, and physical fitness.
