- May 26, 2011: Due to standing water and muddy conditions around the Noble Park Amphitheater, the Paducah Parks Services Department is cancelling tonight’s Movie in the Park. The movie will be rescheduled at a later date. The City apologizes for any inconvenience or disappointment.
- May 26, 2011: Saturday, May 28 will be the Starfish Orphan Ministry Run for the Children 5K and one mile youth run at Noble Park. The 5K will begin at 9am (registration starts at 8am). During the run, the runners will be using the outer loop in the park. For safety, the entrances to Noble Park will be closed during the run. The baseball field entrance off Park Avenue will be the only one to remain open.

- March 11, 2011: A section of South 4th Street in Paducah is closed to traffic. Traffic still can enter South 4th Street from each end of the road, but traffic will not be permitted to drive the entire length of the street. The City of Paducah Engineering-Public Works (EPW) Department is barricading the road near the Paducah-McCracken County Riverport Authority. The barricade is to allow the placement of pumps and hoses in the street. Water is being pumped over the levee and into the Ohio River. There is a low area near the Riverport. This barricade will be in place until the water levels begin to fall.

Due to the extreme heat conditions, anyone wanting to stay cool and make a splash at Noble Park Pool can swim for only $1.00 beginning today (August 4) through Friday, August 6. All ages swim for just $1.00! Children age 10 and under must be accompanied by a paying adult. The pool will continue with normal operating hours noon until 6 p.m. through Saturday and Sunday from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Just a reminder that Sunday, August 8, is the last day the pool will be open this season.
