Martha Argotte Thomas
Martha Argotte Thomas is a Human Resource Generalist at Lourdes Hospital. She is also the Chairperson of the Diversity Council. Argotte is the Chair for Calling All Colors, a diversity program for middle school students sponsored by the Interracial Women's Group as well as a member of the Interracial Women's Group. She is also a board member of the Merryman House Domestic Crisis Center and a member of the Cooperative Extension Council of McCracken County, an extension of the University of Kentucky. Argotte is an active member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church, and she teaches seventh grade Faith Formation for Catholic students attending public schools. She grew up in Long Island, New York and studied Organizational Behavior and Communications at New York University. Argotte relocated to Paducah in 2004. She is blessed to have a son, Andrew.
Reverend Bernice Stewart Belt , M.S.; C.C.C. (Interim Chair)
Reverend Bernice Belt is married to U.S. Army Retired Harold Belt. She is an Associate Minister with Washington Street Baptist Church where her servanthood includes Christian Counselor, Director of Performing Arts, and a facilitator for New Members/Prospective Members Orientation. She is employed by West Kentucky Community and Technical College teaching "Strategies for Academic Success." Reverend Belt is a 2008 candidate for Doctor of Theology. Her community ministry includes Christian Women United, NAACP, Interracial Women's Group, and the Golden Echoes of Paducah. She is a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors and a Duchess of Paducah.
Robert "Bob" Bloomingburg
Robert "Bob" Bloomingburg has been a resident of Paducah since 1995. He has a bachelor's degree in accounting from Freed Hardeman University and more than 20 years of experience in the financial and banking industry with most of his career spent as a small business loan officer. Bloomingburg is employed at Paducah Bank and is committed to ensuring that fair lending standards are upheld to all members of our community. In his addition to his work career, Bloomingburg has been involved with the March of Dimes, Downtown Kiwanis Club, New Pathways for Children, Yeiser Art Center, SCORE, Chamber of Commerce, and the United Way. He is a member of Lone Oak Church of Christ and his married with two daughters.
David Boggs
David Boggs currently serves as Executive Director for Barbeque on the River, a community charitable event held in September. The festival raises more than $400,000 each year for 75 different charities. Boggs also is the co-owner of bbQ & more, a retail gift boutique in downtown Paducah. Boggs has extensive experience in event planning and retail management. Boggs is a Duke of Paducah to honor his commitment to our community. Boggs is a native of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and attended Charleston Southern University in Charleston, South Carolina.
Art Davis
Art Davis began teaching band at Paducah Tilghman and then became Assistant Principal of Student Activities before taking on the role of Principal in 2003. He earned his music education degree at Murray State University and his master’s degree from Southern Illinois University. He also has a rank 1 certificate as well as his level I and II principal certification. Davis is a member of Omega Phi Psi Fraternity and is the vice president elect of the Kentucky Association of Secondary School Principals. He is a member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church.
Shulorn Jeter
Shulorn Jeter is a wife, mother, and grandmother who is passionate about helping home owners and investors spend their money wisely. Jeter worked in state government for five years before becoming a realtor in 2005. Jeter is a graduate of APASS Weikel Real Estate School and received her bachelor's degree from Murray State University. She also is a graduate of Draghns Junior College of Business. Jeter currently serves as Co-Chairman on the Public Relations Committee with the Paducah Board of Realtors. Jeter also served two years on the Professional Standards and Grievance Committee with the Realtors and two years on the Equal Employment Opportunity Committee with Kentucky State Government.
Mark Rowe
Mark Rowe has been married for 15 years to Kimberly Rowe and has two children, ten-year-old John Marcus, Jr. and 14-year-old Allison. Rowe has been the minister of the 9th Street Church of Christ in Paducah for the past nine years. He is currently serving on the board of the United Way and has previously served as both member and chairman of the board for New Pathways Children's Home, council member for Paducah Head Start, and Bridging the Gap for Paducah Public Schools.
