FOP Peace Officers' Memorial Ceremony

Place: McCracken County Courthouse lawn, Paducah, KY
The annual Peace Officers’ Memorial Day ceremony, sponsored by Jackson Purchase Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 15, will begin at noon Monday on the lawn of the McCracken County Courthouse. The ceremony will honor 173 officers killed in the line of duty in the United States last year. McCracken County Judge Executive Van Newberry and Paducah Mayor Pro tem Gayle Kaler will be guest speakers. Bagpipes again will be played by Jim Cruickshank.
A reception and refreshments, hosted by McCracken County Jailer Bill Adams in the sallyport of the jail, will follow the ceremony.
