2010 An Evening of Performance
Are you or your individual or group members looking to showcase your diverse talents in Paducah? Do you have Musicians? Singers? Dancers? Actors? Poets? Other types of performers? If so, the Paducah Human Rights Commission (PHRC) would like to invite you to participate in An Evening of Performance, set for Friday, May 21, 2010, at the Luther F. Carson Center, 7-9 p.m.
Registration: We would love for your group to be part of this performance. To participate, please download the REGISTRATION FORM. The deadline to register is 4:00 p.m. April 16. We have a limited number of slots per performance type, so the sooner we hear from you, the better, as we’ll make our decisions primarily on a first-come, first-served basis. In addition, we can accept only ONE ENTRY per organization.
This event will feature music, singers, dancers, oratory, skits and other performances, while providing the PHRC with the opportunity to further educate our citizens about the purpose of, and services offered by, the commission. Our main goal is to maximize acceptance of, and celebrate, diversity. Please note that appropriate attire for the performers is expected, and no equipment will be provided except the Carson Center's basic sound system, which will be operated by Carson Center staff only.
