The Paducah Parks Services Department has had requests for adult sewing and zumba classes at the Paducah Recreation Center (PRC) located at 1527 Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive.  Two new FREE classes are starting this month for people with memberships to the PRC.  A PRC membership costs $5 for your entire family for a year.  Details of the two new classes are listed below.

Sew, Let me Teach…for ADULTS!!!

The sewing class will be limited to eight ladies wanting to learn how to sew and quilt on a beginner’s level.  Sewing machines will be provided, but participants will need to purchase a basic sewing kit (approximately $6 at local craft stores) and bring it with them to the class.  The eight week session begins March 22.  Classes will be held Thursday evenings, 5:30-7:30 p.m. 

Zumba for Adults

The Zumba for Adults class will be held on Saturdays, 11:00 a.m. – noon.  Classes begin March 24 and will be ongoing.
