Place:  Motel in the 5100 block of Hinkleville Road, Paducah

Suspects:       Valarie Denise Starks, 27, of Denver, CO, arrested on a charge of in trafficking in more than five pounds of marijuana

                        Irma Vega Denavarrete, 58, of Commerce City, CO, arrested on a charge of trafficking in more than five pounds of marijuana

                        Jose Alfredo Carmona-Villegas, 27, of Carson City, CO, arrested on a charge of trafficking in more than five pounds of marijuana

                        Brent Edward Dorsett, 42, of Denver, CO, arrested on charges of trafficking in more than five pounds of marijuana, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia

 Four Colorado residents were arrested after an investigation into alleged drug activity today at a local motel.

Valarie D. Starks, Irma Vega Denavarrete, Jose Alfredo Carmona-Villegas and Brent Edward Dorsett were arrested at 3 p.m. today by Paducah Police Department Drug and Vice Enforcement detectives.

Acting on information received, officers said they found more than 17 pounds of marijuana in a motel room occupied by the four.  Dorsett also was charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia after officers found both in his possession.  The four were booked into McCracken County Regional Jail.
