The final Bikes on Broadway event for 2011 will be held on October 9, the second Sunday in October.  This is the fourth year for Bikes on Broadway, an event that closes a stretch of Broadway in Paducah to vehicular traffic.  From 1:00 until 4:00 p.m., bring your bicycle, skates, skateboards, scooters, tricycles, strollers, running shoes, or walking shoes for a fun day of strolling and riding along Broadway.  Vehicular traffic will not be permitted on Broadway between 4th and 17th Streets during the free event.

With the help of crossing volunteers, traffic will be able to cross Broadway at 9th and 13th Streets.  BikeWorld will set up a station at 17th Street and Broadway to provide mechanical help, assistance for participants, and general bicycle information.
