The Paducah Parks Services Department’s Annual Easter Egg Dash is a race for children to pick up as many eggs as they can after the whistle blows. Bring your Easter baskets because there will be plenty of eggs to collect. The children will race with their age groups to pick up 13,000 candy filled eggs that are spread across the ball fields. The free event will be held Tuesday, March 27 at Stuart Nelson Park. Registration begins at 5:00 p.m. Registration also is available online at www.paducahky.gov or at the Parks Services office. If there is inclement weather, the event will be postponed until Thursday, March 29. Age groups for the Easter Egg Dash are 0-2 years, 3-4 years, 5-7 years, and 8-10 years. Age groups will dash in 15-minute increments beginning with the 0-2 year olds at 5:30 p.m. Three prize eggs will be hidden on each field.
Paducah Parks Services thanks the sponsors for the 2012 Easter Egg Dash: FNB Bank and Daymar College.
