Neighborhood Walk on October 15 with the Paducah Board of Commissioners

PADUCAH, KY— The Paducah Board of Commissioners has scheduled a Neighborhood Walk for Saturday, October 15, 2011 at 10:30 a.m.  Commissioners and City staff will meet at Riviera Apartments located at 2967 Harrison Street.  The group will talk with residents while walking the neighborhood just north of Carson Park.  The streets the Commission plan to walk include Clay, Harrison, and Trimble.

This is the fourth year for the Commission to coordinate walking events allowing them to get to know Paducah’s residents and tour the City’s neighborhoods.  In 2008, the Commissioners participated in the Walk the Greenway Trail with the Mayor and Commissioners.  Elected officials and city staff participated in four Neighborhood Walk events in 2009 and two events in 2010.
