The hum of sewing machines will be heard at the Paducah Recreation Center (PRC).   The Paducah Parks Services Department is offering sewing classes at the facility starting Tuesday, March 13.  The program is free for those with a PRC membership but requires pre-registration since class space is limited to eight participants.  The sewing classes will meet for eight weeks on Tuesday afternoons, 4:00-6:00 p.m.  The sewing machines and materials will be provided.  Participants will learn basic sewing in addition to quilting techniques.  Another session of sewing classes begins in May.
