2012 Events
May 31: Swim Team Tryouts - The Paducah Sting Rays Swim Team is a competitive team for ages 3 through 18 that practices at the Noble Park Pool. Tryouts will be May 31 at 6:00 p.m. The registration fee is $75. Team practices will begin June 4. Practices are Monday through Thursday. Swim meets will occur on weeknights and Saturday mornings. The season runs until July 21.
June 1: Pool Opening Day - The Noble Park Pool opens for the 2012 season on June 1.
June 8: Dive In Movie - Join Paducah Parks for a Dive in Movie on Friday, June 8, 8:00–10:30 p.m. Watch a movie on the 40-foot inflatable screen. The pool will open at 8:00 p.m. with the movie, “Hook”, starting at approximately 8:30 p.m. Admission is $3 per adult (16 years +) and $1 per child (2-15 years). Concessions will be available for purchase.
June 16: Paducah Regatta - The Paducah Regatta will be held on Saturday, June 16. Using cardboard and duct tape to construct a boat, the goal is to race it across the pool without sinking. All of the supplies to build your boat will be provided, or bring your cardboard boat from home. All boats must meet specified rules and requirements. Registration begins at 9:30 a.m. with the boat races at 10:30 a.m. Participants are given a maximum of one hour to build their boat, and all boat-building stops at race time. The cost is $10 per boat. Trophies will be awarded.
June 23: Hawaiian Luau - On Saturday, June 23, noon-6pm, the Paducah Parks Services Department will host a luau at the Noble Park pool. There will be Hawaiian themed music, prizes, food, and more.
July 21: Youth Triathlon and Family Fun Day in Park - Family Fun Day in the Park is sponsored by the George Wilson SAFETY Foundation. The free event will be 2:00-8:00 p.m.
July 28: Walk the Plank - Walk the plank at this fun filled pirate themed party. Includes prizes, food, and more. Party will be noon until 6:00 p.m. Regular pool admission fees apply.

August 5: Closing Day - This is the last day the Noble Park Pool will be open to the public for the 2012 season.
August 9: Dog Swim - Dogs will have their day at the Noble Park pool during Dog Swim on Thursday, August 9, 6:30 p.m.–8:30 p.m. Dogs must be licensed. At registration, handlers must bring copies of certification showing each dog is up-to-date on vaccinations. Handlers must be at least 16 years old. The cost is $10 per dog.
