The Paducah Police Department is committed to reaching out to the community and our resource center at Kentucky Oaks Mall enables us to be more visible.  The office is also home to the Citizen's Police Academy Alumni Association who meet every third Thursday of each month at the office.  The office is used to host community educational programs and officer training classes throughout the year.

A full time position was established in 2002 to provide police services to the largest shopping center in the region.  Officer Travis Counts is assigned to the Police Community Resource Center in the Mall and the surrounding business centers.  He is often seen walking through the mall and patrolling the area.
