The City of Paducah will hold a public information meeting regarding Phase I of the Paducah Waterfront Development Project on March 10, 2010 from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. in the Commission Chambers on the second floor of Paducah City Hall, 300 South 5th Street. The purpose of this meeting is to (1) present the proposed design features for the project, (2) discuss the approved Environmental Assessment (EA) document that has been prepared, and (3) receive public comment and input in accordance with the requirements of the Federal Highway Administration, Department of Transportation, 23 CFR Part 771.
At the public meeting, attendees will be able to review displays and documents between 4:00 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. A presentation of the project will begin at 4:30 p.m. At the conclusion of the project presentation, a public comment, question and discussion period will be conducted. A project handout and comment sheet will be distributed to attendees upon sign-in, and both oral and written comments will be accepted during the meeting. In accordance with the “Americans with Disabilities Act,” anyone who has a disability requiring assistance, please notify the City Engineer’s office at (270) 444-8511 no later than Wednesday, March 3, 2010.
Project drawings and the approved EA document are available for review at the office of the City Engineer, second floor of Paducah City Hall between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday until March 25, 2010. Written comments will be accepted on comment sheets provided during this review period.
